Alireza Fakhrkonandeh is Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Drama and Literary Theory at the University of Southampton, UK. He has published in such journals as <i>ANQ, Theatre Quarterly, Textual Practice, Comparative Drama</i>, and the <i>Journal of Contemporary Drama in English</i>. He is the academic translator of Howard Barker's works from English into Persian.
