Gupta</b> is Associate Professor at the University of Alabama, USA.&nbsp;He has published over 50 research articles in prestigious journals such as&nbsp;<i>Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review</i>,&nbsp;<i>Strategic Management Journal</i>,&nbsp;<i>Journal of Applied Psychology</i>,&nbsp;and&nbsp;<i>Journal of Business Venturing</i>, among others. He has also been a Visiting Professor at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance and the Indian Institutes of Management at Kashipur and Shillong. He received his PhD from the University of Missouri.&nbsp;

Before embarking on an academic career, he worked full-time in the family enterprise, and remains passionately involved with entrepreneurial ventures. <p></p>
