“Ring Ring”
The alarm clock started to ring.
“Okay Okay I’m up,” I said screeching my hand and making the alarm stop ringing.
“You are not thinking to leave me again right?” Aana my wife asks while hugging me.
“I am sorry honey but you know I have work to do, I have a very tight schedule today,” I said while removing her arms from my waist and getting ready for office.
“Are you going to leave without a kiss?” she asked sitting up and rubbing her eyes.
“Of course not,” I said and kissed her on her lips. I pull out of the kiss when my phone started ringing.
I pick it up and walk out of the room to talk. On the phone.
“Hello,”
“Hello, Mr.Nara I have called you to inform that we have found the woman who is ready for insemination, and we are going to do it, do you want to meet her before we start the process?”
“Yes, I will be there in an hour,”
“Okay, we will wait for you,”
“Thank you bye,” I said and hang up the phone. Then I walk to the kitchen.
“Breakfast is ready honey,” Aana said and kissed me at the cheek.
“You will stay for breakfast right?” she asks pouting her lips.
“Yes, then I will leave,” I said sitting on a table.
“But before I go to the office I have to go to Richardo’s office,” I said while eating my breakfast.
“So he is the one who called you before right,?” she asks and I nodded my head.
“The insemination will be done today, I want to know who the woman is, I want to meet her,” I said wiping my mouth with a napkin.
“I feel you should not place such trust on a woman, We don’t know anything about, her,” she said with a sad face.
“I don’t care about it, the most important thing for me is she is healthy and she is giving a baby to us,” I said getting annoyed by her tactics. Really? she is becoming a wife who did not trust her husband and keep an eye on his every move and this starts getting on my nerves nowadays.
“Yes, of course, you’re right, but I don’t want you to forget that you can adopt a child too,” she said.
“You don’t understand Aana, it’s not the same if there is the slightest possibility of having my child then it is a better alternative then the adoption.”
“I want to be a father but not figuratively, I want to become a real father,” I said getting sad for not having my own child.
“Nate, I can understand that since you recover from that illness, your only wish is to become a father, but you should understand me too because I feel I let you down in some way, and that hurt me, after all, you going to have a child but with another women,” she said getting sad.
“This child is going to be our child you don’t need to feel like that,” I said walking towards her and hug her to make her feel better.
“Do you think there is no need to worry?” she asks.
“Of course not,” I said hugging her tighter.
“No matter what remember that you are the only woman for me,” I said and kissed her forehead.
“I have to go,” I said pulling away from her.
“Do you want me to come with you?” she asks smiling.
“No, I would go alone,” I said and leave for the hospital. But before I reach my car I heard her kick a stone in anger and I don’t blame him I can understand her insecurities. But she should also try to understand my pain but she is to busy in her insecurities that she did not try to understand my pain.
I reach the hospital in 20 minutes and walk inside the door.
“I am here to meet dr. Richard.” I said to the receptionist.
“Wait a second please,” she said and call someone while I go and take a seat in the waiting room.
“You can go to his office now,” the receptionist said to me after some time. I thank her and walk to his office. I knock to his door and enters it to see a blonde sitting in front of the desk with doctor Richard. Dr. Richard introduce us to each other and she left us alone to have some privacy.
“Is everything okay?” he asks.
“I hope everything is gonna be okay, but I can’t help but worry about it,” I said getting worried about the future.
“What’s there too worried about?” he asks.
“What if what happens to Aana happened again?, A perfectly healthy woman can’t bear my child,” I said to him looking down at my hands.
“That’s one possibility in thousand but have faith, everything is going to be alright,” he reassured me after that we talk for some time to clear our doughs. I get out of the hospital and leave for my office with a smile on my face.
(Third person P.O.V)
“If the doctor Richard has an emergency how is going to see his patients,” the nurse asks to doctor Kirti.
“Doctor. Mike as always, he is on his way,” Dr. Kirti said to the nurse. The nurse takes all the file of patients and about to leave when Dr.Kirti stop her.
“Hey what are you doing here?” Dr.Kirti ask.
“What?” the nurse asks puzzled.
“The case history doesn’t go there pay attention,” Dr. Kirti warmed her.
“Dr. Monslave’s patients are filled in a green folder and Dr. Petaze in the yellow files ones concentrate,” Dr. Kirti said to the nurse.
“Remember what happened the last time they mixed up? ” Dr. Kirti asks.
“How can I forget? I was surprised they didn’t fire me?” the nurse said to Dr. Kirti. Dr. Kirti phone started ringing and he picks it up.
“Hello, will be right there,” Dr. Kirti said and hang up the phone.
“Dr. Pezate needs me you are on your own,” Dr. Kirti said and leave to go to Dr. Pezate.
“Excuse me?” Mia asks entering the hospital.
“Gynecologist and fertilization center good afternoon how can I help you?” the nurse ask talking on the phone.
“Doctor can’t talk to you now,” she said on the phone.
“Just leave your name okay?” she said annoyed in the phone and hang up.
“Excuses me, miss,” Mia asks the nurse.
“I would like to ask a question I have NEVER ask,” Mia said and the phone rang again and the nurse started talking on the phone.
*Shit they are busy I think I have to wait,* Mia thought and take a seat in the waiting room.
“I don’t believe they are so busy,” Mia said to herself.
“Indeed,” another patient said entering the hospital.
“I see,” Mia said smiling at her.
“What doctor taking care of you?” she asks.
“Dr. Pezate,” Mia said.
“Annual checkup?” she asks.
“No, its the first time I’m visiting a gynecologist,” Mia said.
“I know the first time it’s embarrassing but don’t worry you will get used to it,” she said.
Mia has been waiting for almost an hour and she is starting to get impatient. After some time her patients broke and she was about to snap at the nurse when the doctor comes to them.
“have the patients of Dr.Pazate and Dr. Monslave come in,” Dr. Kriti ask while walking towards the nurse. The nurse looks at the file and calls them.
“Mia Mathis?” nurse call.
“Here,” Mia said walking to her. Karin is here to for insemination for Nate child.
“Karin Young” the nurse call.
“Here,” another girl said walking to them.
“Follow me please,” a nurse said while turning and walking towards the Dr’s office. And Karin and Mia started following her.
The nurse bumps into the doctor while reading the files and walking to Dr’s office. All the files fall from her hands and all paper was mixed up with each other.
*Shit* the nurse thought while picking up the files and putting the paperback to their files.
“Be careful the next time miss,” the doctor said and walked away.
She looks at the files and led them to the wrong doctor's offices. Mia is about to enter the room when the nurse stopped her.
“Take your clothes off and put the robe on with the opening facing back,” Nurse said to Mia and leave to show Karin the room where Mia was supposed to go. Mia goes the room and gets changed then lay down on the bed waiting for the doctor to come.
After 10 minutes the doctor comes in.
*She must be Karin young* doctor thought while looking at her.
He was about to talk to her when she interrupted him.
(MIA P.O.V.)
“I’m ready,” Mia said.
“It’s your first time right?” The doctor asks.
“Yes,” Mia said to him.
“I am going to proceed,” the doctor said and about to start the procedure but Mia stopped him.
“Listen, doctor, can I want to ask a favor?” Mia asks sitting up in the bed.
“Yes, what is it?” the doctor asks.
“Please don’t narrate you’re every step of what you are about to do it’s the first time I do something like this and the truth is I don’t want to know every detail,” she said her body become tense.
“Relax it will be very simple science has made progress you know,” the doctor said and she laid back to the bed. The doctor lifted her robe and placed a cannula inside her.
“We are finished,” the doctor said.
“So soon?” asked Mia.
“Yes,” the doctor said to her. A nurse comes into the room looking pale.
“There is an emergency you have to come with me,” the nurse said in hurry.
“I will come back soon,” the doctor said and walk out of the room.
*So that is all, I don’t know why but I feel weird,* Mia thinks.
(After 15 Minutes to Karin)
It’s 15 minutes when the doctor comes to the room.
“Finally doctor your here, shall we start? ” Karin ask.
“Sure lie down please,” the doctor said while looking at the files.
“Okay,” Karin said and lie down in the bed.
“I heard that it is the first time you visit the gynecologist?” the doctor ask.
“Gynecologist?” Karin questioned.
“You don’t have to worry everything will be okay,” the doctor said.
“Wait maybe there is a mistake I am not here for a gynecologist,” she said to the doctor.
“It’s so boring here,” Mia said to herself. A door opens and doctor Kirti enters the room. When she saw Mia sitting there she asks.
“You, What are you doing here?” the doctor asked.
“Mr. Pezate said to wait for him because something happens,” said Mia to the doctor.
*This isn’t Dr.Pezate’s office, don’t tell me?* the doctor thought and check her. When he has done with checking Mia.
*He did it to her,* the doctor thought with a wide eye.
“Is something wrong?” Mia asked the doctor getting worried. The doctor didn’t say anything to her and leaves the room in a hurry.
*This is starting to piss me off and I’m bored to wait, I guess they will call me for the result there is no need to stay here, I am leaning,* she thought then get dressed and leaves the room.
Dr.Kirti was running in the hall when he comes across face to face with the doctor Mike.
“Dr. Mike,” Dr. Kirti said while panting.
“Is something wrong?” Dr. Mike ask.
“You, really did the insemination to the young lady in your office?” Dr.Mike ask.
“Of course, what about it?” Dr. Mike ask.
“That lady has come for a check-up, she was waiting for a gynecologist,” said Dr. Kirti.
“What?” Dr. Mike asks in shock.
“Find that woman now and don’t talk to anyone about this mistake,” Dr.Mike said to Dr.Kirti and they both go to the room where Mia was to find her not there.
“Shit, she left?” Dr.Mike said to himself.
“What are we gonna do now?” Dr. Kirti asks.
“This woman never comes here, this never happens here we have to forget what happens here,” Dr. Mike said to Dr.Kirti.
“Tell another lady to come in, I will go for another sample,” Dr. Mike said to Dr.Kirti and both leaves.
After sometime Dr.Mike come to his office to find Karin sitting on the bed. He said Karin to laid in the bed and carry out the procedure he did with Mia and then tell her to leave.
(Aana P.O.V)
My friend has just come from L.A from an important business meeting and now we are at her house talking with each other.
“I can’t believe something like this happening to Nate, he wants so much to have child, ” My friend Elisa said to me.
“I don’t want to sound selfish but the only things he cares about is to have a child, sometimes I think the child is a more important thing than me,” I said to Elisha getting upset.
“Forgive me for my curiosity but why can’t you give him a child?” she asks to get curious.
“It’s a long story you have just come from a long trip are you sure you want to hear it?” I ask her thinking she must be tired and wanting to have some rest after her trip.
“Don’t forget that I’m your best friend and I want to share your problems with me, we never keep secrets from each other,” she said taking my hands in his hands giving me puppy eyes. And I sighed at her carelessness.
“You don’t know how much I want to talk to someone,” I said wiping a lone tear that comes down from my eyes.
“And that person is me right?” she asks with a smile on her face.
“Of course, yes,” I said and hugs her tightly.
“So tell me I want to know everything,” she said pulling away from me. And I tell her everything.
“I can’t believe he suffered from this kind of cancer,” she said in getting sad for him in such a low voice that I almost didn’t hear her.
“He gets cured but after the chemotherapy he becomes sterile, he always knew the possibility that’s why he saves, some of his sperm in the lab,” I said.
“Then why didn’t you get inseminated in the lab?” she asks.
“I tried a lot of time to get pregnant but we are incompatible, that is, all,” I said and sighed.
“You, really want to be pregnant?” She asks.
“What do you mean?” I ask getting confused.
“I mean I know you for a long time and I don’t think you are that kind of a woman who wants a child,” she said.

“If Nate can’t have children with me, I will never let him have children with another woman,” I said in anger.
“What are you going to do?” she asked.
“Anything and everything to keep him with me,” with that said I get up and walk out on her, not wanting to do or say anything in my anger that will break our friendship.
(Mia’s P.O.V)
“I’m home,” I said entering my house and removing my shoes in the corridor.
“So you finally come home,” my mom asked.
“How was the meeting with the gynecologist?” she asks.
“It was okay,” I said.
“I was glad that everything goes well,” she said smiling.
“I am really hungry have you made dinner?” I asked walking to the dining room.
“Yes,” she said and walk to the kitchen. After some time she comes with two plates and gives me my plate.
“Tomorrow I’m going for the search of a job, I need a place to continue with my practice,” I said to her after finishing my dinner.
“I hope too sweetie good luck,” she said smiling.
“Good night mom,” I said to her while walking to my room.
“Good night sweetie sleeps tight,” she said smiling. I go to my room to take a shower and goes to sleep after getting into my comfortable clothes.
(Mia P.O.V)
Next day I get up early and get ready to go and find a job, I get down to see my mom making breakfast.
“Good morning mom is the breakfast ready,” I ask her.
“Yes, dear,” she said and give me a plate full of sausages and crumble eggs.
“Are you ready to find a job?” she asks and I nodded at him.
“Do you have all your documents ready and do you check it to make sure,” she asks and I nodded at her. I get up from my table and put my dish in the sink then wash my hand.
“I am leaving mom,” I said to my mom and goes to the corridor and put my shoes.
“All the best sweetie,” she said.
“Thank you, mom,” I said and walk out of the door. I get into my car and set the address of Nara building enterprises in the GPS and drive away. I reach there in 20 minutes and walk into the building.
“Can I help you miss?” the receptionist who is in the same age as I ask me.
“I have come for the post you are looking for,” I said to her.
“You will directly talk to the boss, so follow me,” she said and led me to the top floor of the building.
“This is our boss's office, you can enter the office after knocking the door,” she said then walked away. I knock two times and enters the office.
“You,” I asked shocked.
(Flashback)
I was running home after visiting Gynecologist when I bump into someone and fall in the ground.
The person who bumped to me ignores me and run away.
“That’s rude,” I said to myself while sitting up.
*I wonder who is he and why he is running like hell, anyway that is not my problem.* I thought then look at my watch.
“Shit,” I said and get up fast then run away.

“You are rejected,” he said to me and I walk away from his office with a sad face. I go out of the building and sit on the ground next to my car looking down at my hands while crying.
“Hey, beautiful,” a familiar voice said to me and I look up to see Edan smiling at me. I wipe my tears and give him a tight smile.
“Mia,” he said in shock when he saw it’s me.
“I can’t believe it’s you Edan,” I said looking at him.
“Long time no sees, huh, it’s nice to meet you again, how are you?” he asked smiling at me.
“I am fine, what about you?” I ask smiling at him.
“I am good thanks for asking, how are your studies going on?” he asks screeching his hand towards me to help me stand up and I accept it gladly.
“Very well, it’s almost finished, the only thing remains, is to find a place where I will continue my practice,” I said and he pushes me up.
“Have you found anything yet?” he asked.
“Noone accepts me because I am too young and they don’t trust me,” I said getting upset.
“I am new in this city and I don’t know anyone who can help me,” I said and sighed.

I walk to the office, greet everyone in the office and walk to the Nate office to see him sitting on the chair with his head on his hands.
“Hello, Nate,” I said to him with a smile on my face.
“Edan?” he asks looking up at me.
“I didn’t expect to see you here,” I said and take a seat in front of him.
“I stayed here to check the work going on the latest projects,” he said sitting straight.
“You like to spend a lot of time in your office as always right Nate?” I ask him.
“My office is the only place where I can have some peace,” he said laying back on his chair and looking at the ceiling like it is the most interesting thing in the world.
“I saw you here a lot of times it’s happening again right?” I ask getting worried.
“I don’t know how but I feel like this time it will happen,” he said with a smile.
“I am happy to hear that I wish it too that this time you, will become a father, you and Aana deserve to be happy,” I said to him with a smile on my face.
“I don’t ask for anything more expect than to have a child, I want this more than everything in the world,” he said seriously.
“I know dude I know how much you were waiting for this to happen, and I also want to talk to you about something serious,” I said to him.
“Is it about work?” he asked.
“Yes, there is a friend of mine who, really needs a job and she,” I said but he cut me off.

As per Ethan's request, I got ready and waiting for him at our meeting spot after 2 weeks at his given time.
*Where is he? He is always late. I should have known.* I thought. Then the bell of the cafe ring and someone come and close my eyes but putting their hand in my eyes.
"Guess who?" a familiar voice asks.
"Isn't it obvious, Ethan," I said removing his hand from my eyes.
"Sorry, for being late," Ethan said while taking a seat in front of me.
"Something never changes I guess, but why did you call me here?" I ask.
"I hope you are still searching for a place or company to continue your practice, right?" Edan ask.
"Right. and?" I ask.
"Nate wants to see you tomorrow," Edan said.
"You're, kidding me right?" I ask shocked. When a waiter comes to take our order.
"No, it's true," Edan said after we give our order.
"Why should I believe that he will not kick me out again?" I ask.
"Don't worry this will not happen again," Edan said while screeching his back nervously.
"I hope you will not disappoint me right?" I ask as the waiter comes with our order.
"Of course," Edan said taking the ship of his coffee.
"Okay, then I will come," I said while eating my ice cream.

"Now this is my friend, who I knew so let's go and celebrate it," Edan said with a big smile on his face while taking my hand and dragging me somewhere.

"So how is the auntie Tsunade doing?" he asks.
"Good, always busy with her work now that the business is expanding her boss gives her so much work that she hardly got time to spend it with me," I said while shaking my head.
"What about you? how are your working days going with Mr. grumpy pants?" I ask.
"Good, and please don't call him that. Once you know him very well you will know why he behaves like that," he said.
"We will see," I said to him while smirking. After a walk, we go to my favorite restaurant to have dinner. It was wonderful as always after that Edam drop me home. Mom has a business trip for a month so she was not home when I was back home.
I walk up to my room prepare my stuff for tomorrow, change in comfortable clothes than go to sleep. Next morning I wake up with my alarm and get ready fast to go to Mr. Grumpy's office. I take my purse, car keys and a house key. I grab an apple from the fruit basket to eat while driving before walking out of my house.
I reach there in 30 minutes because of traffic but still reach there on time. I walk to the elevator and push the 5th-floor button. When I reach there I walk to the office and knock at the door.
"Come in," a rough but familiar voice said.
"Good morning," I said sweetly while entering the office.
"You?" he asked in shock.
"You Again?" he almost shouts get back his composer scaring me.
"You are the girl who comes to me before days right?" he asks.
"Yes, " I said in a very low voice. Then his phone started ringing and he looks at this cellphone trying to stay calm.
"Excuse me I have to answer," he said.
"Sure," I said and he walks to his office window, he talks to someone on his phone then suddenly phone fall from his hand.
"Is something wrong?" I ask getting worried.
"I am going to become a father," he said in a shocked phase.
"You're going to be a father?" I ask confused.
"Finally," he said getting out of the shock with a small smile on his face.
"That so sweet," I said while smiling at him.
"A father, I can't believe it," he said while running his hand in his hair excitedly.
"Forgive me but I have to go," he said.
"I understand,"
"I am going to tell the news to my wife," he said.
"Congratulations," I said to him.
"Thank you," he said.
"I have never seen a guy so excited for such good news,"
"For me, it is very special, something that I wanted, it was my only wish and dream,"
*I have never expected that deep inside he is like this* I thought.
"Forgive me but I must go," he said then.
"I can understand," I said while smiling at him. We walk and look at me for one last time then walk out of the office.
*Wait a minute, what does he mean he has to share a new with his wife, does he mean he doesn't know about it? how is it possible?* I thought, getting confused.
*He was so happy to become a father. I wish with all the mean that all the men were like him* with that thought, I walk out of the office and the building to look Edan looking at Mr. Naras running away.
"Edan?" I ask.
"What happened to him?" he asks.
"He is going to become a father," I said with a smile.
"Really?" he asks shocked.
"Yes, someone called him he was so happy," I said to him.
"I can understand," he said chuckling.
"He also told me that you are hired," he said with a huge smile.
"Really?" I ask shocked.
"Yes, welcome to Nara industries Mia," he said and I engulf him in a bone-crushing hug which he gladly returned.
"Thank you, thank you, thanks its all because of you, thank you so much Edan," I said to him.
"Your welcome, now should we celebrate your new job?" he asks and I nodded my head excitedly. He then grabs my hand and we both left the premises to celebrate my new job.

I look at the girl in my office for the last time and run towards my car. While running towards my car I bumped into my best friend Edan.
“Where are you going, Nate?” he asks worriedly.
“I have to go Edan, I will explain everything later,” I said hurriedly.
“And what about my friend,” he asked getting worried.
“Your friend?” I ask confused.
“In your office,” he said.
*Maybe he was talking about the girl who is in my office* I thought.
“She is hired,” I said and run off to my car but I can still feel his eyes on me.
I reach my house in 15 minutes and I decided to give my wife a surprise. So I go into the kitchen behind her without making any noise, take her in my arms and spun her around the kitchen.
“You idiot you scare me,” she said while panting hitting me in the chest and I chuckled at her cuteness.
“You are looking very happy today,” she said with a smile.
“Yes, I have very good news to share with you,” I said getting excited.
“I have never seen you so happy before,” she said with a big smile on her face.
“We are gonna become parents,” I said excitedly and explain her everything.
(Aana P.O.V)
“We are gonna become parents,” he said excitedly and explain me everything. To say I was angry was an understatement. But I kept my composer and a smile on my face so that he doesn't know about what is going in my mind.
"I am going to the hospital, you will come too right?" he asks with hope in his eyes and I agreed so that I can know who the woman is and stop her from taking my husband away from him.
"of course, let's go," I said with a fake smile on my face.
"Did you see that woman?" he asked when we entered the hospital and saw the doctor examining the woman who carries my husband's child.
"Yes," I said.
"We are going to become parents isn't it beautiful?" he asks I can see excitement and happiness in his eyes.
"Yes, it is," I said in a low voice.
"What's wrong it looks like your not happy," he asks with concerned.
"Of course I'm," I said to him.
"I don't see happiness in your face or your eyes," he said.
"I was just worried," I said while taking a seat at the waiting room.
"About what?" he asks.
"That this baby doesn't change anything between us," I said while looking deep in his eyes.
"What are you saying? don't tell me you're jealous," he said while smirking at me.
"A little," I said with a small smile on my face.
"Come here stupid girl, this baby will change our life for better and nothing is going to change between us," he said while pulling me close to him for a hug and I calm down immediately.
"Let's go home it already time for lunch," he said and lead me to his car while holding my hand.
After we reach home we open the door and run towards the kitchen because both of us were starving. Nate wanted to go to the restaurant to celebrate the good news but I denied to him because I have prepared his favorite food for him.
In the whole lunch all he said about how happy was he to finally to have his own family and someone to carry on his business when he comes to the age of retirement and about how much he was going to love his child and spoiled him but also at the same time he will also teach him to respect women and elders, respect the money he was going to earn for us from his hard work and not to just spend it all for his luxurious.
He started all the plans about me, him and child which includes our new home to start our new life as a parent, the nursery room, and the room the bay is going to use when he or she grew up, the game room, Gym and the theater room. About in which school he is going to take admission for our child, etc.
We spent some time with each other talking and laughing having fun with each other and goes to sleep.

My alarm ring and I press the sneeze button. I was about to go back to sleep when my mother shouted at me.
"Mia Jain Mathis you whether get that lazy ass of yours out of your bed otherwise your going to be late for the first day of your office," My mother shouts at me.
I got up fast and run to my closet to get ready not want to give a bad impression to my boss on the first day of my work. I decided to wear a white blouse and grey skirt which reach above my knees with black high heel shoes. I go and take a fast shower and get dressed for the office. I walk to my dresser and put light make up consist a light blush, eyes liner, and pink lip blam and walk out of my room to the kitchen with my purse, car key with a house key in it and mobile in my hand.
I open the fridge and take an apple, water bottle and groinal bar from it. I kiss my mother goodbye and drive to my office while eating my apple and run to my office.
As soon as I entered the office I heard an unknown voice called me. I turn to look at a blonde girl calling me while typing in the computer furiously.
"You finally come," she said.
"Something wrong?" I ask her.
"The boss wants to talk to you," she said finally looking at me.
"he wants to talk to me?" I ask and she only nodded her head while turning to her work again.
*Oh no is it because I'm late,* I thought and started freaking out.
"Yes, he wants to see you immediately," she said.
"I understand I'm going now," I said and run to his office.
*Why I have a bad feeling about this * I thought and about to open the door when he comes out while reading some papers.
"Mr. Nara," I said startling him and all the paper fall out from his hands.
"Mia," he said startled.
"Forgive me, Mr. Nara," I said and kneel to pick up all the fallen papers.
"Are you okay?" he asked kneeling to help me.
"You finished the project I give you?" he asks getting up.
"Yes," I said.
"So? you are the girl Ethan talked to me and the girl I expelled before days," he asks.
"I'm sorry, I don't want to annoy you by coming here for a second time," I said to him.
"I shouldn't let Ethan do this for me," I said looking down at the ground like it was the most interesting thing in the world.
"No, you don't need to apologize," he said surprising me.
"Huh?" I ask confused.
"I am the one who should apologize to you because I didn't give you the chance to talk to me, " he said looking upset from himself.
"You don't need to apologize you are the boss, and you can do whatever you want," I said while blushing red while looking down at my shoes.
"I don't agree with you a boss must be always fair towards their employees and apologizes when it's needed," he said with a smile making me speechless and stunned.
"Let me apologize to you by giving this post to you," he said in a serious tone.
"I will do my best to never disappoint you," I said to him.
"That's what I hope, come with me I want to explain to you about our new project," he said and we entered his office.
We were halfway into a discussion of our new project when suddenly the door open and Etan enters the office.
"Ethan," we both said in unison startled.
"Sorry I didn't want to interrupt," Ethan said while looking at us.
"Mia will be your helper for a short time, after that she will return to her new post," Mr. Nara said to Ethan.
"Really,? that's great it will be fun to work with each other," Ethan said to Mr. Nara.
"Not for a long time because I am going to have my post and office soon," I said while smiling at him.
"Etan told me about your practice and I'm going to take care of it soon and Ethan you can show Mia this place and everything she needs, and help her as well," Mr. Nara said to me and Ethan.
"With pleasure," Etan said to him.
"You guys can leave now," Mr. Nara said to us going back to his work.
"Thank you, Mr.Nara," I said to him and both of us walk out of this office.
Ethan show me every important place like a cafe, his office, washroom, restroom, game room, etc. He explains the remaining project and told me what I have to do in this project and excuses himself.
After some time he comes back with two cups of coffee, I thanks him, and we get back to work. I enjoyed working with him. He keeps entertaining me between the work so that I don't get stressed and bored.
I look at my watch and see it's 7:15 and look at Ethan who is still working at his laptop.
"It's Late, I should leave now," I told to Ethan.
"I will drive you home," Ethan said to me.
"Don't worry I have brought my car," I said to him.
"Then I will drive with you, I have the same way to go anyway, wait here and I will be back soon," Ethan said and walk out of his office.
(Nate P.O.V)
When they both left my office I get back to work. I was busy with my project when Ethan enters my office.
"Nate," Etan said entering my office.
"You're still here," I ask him shocked to see him here. Generally, he was always the first one to leave the office.
"I'm going to leave with Mia I have come to see if you need anything, and to say goodbye," Ethan said to me.
"I don't need anything you both can go," I said to him while smiling at him.
"Thanks, and oh I forgot to ask you, how are the things with the baby?" he asks.
"It's okay," I said while rubbing my forehead.
"Are you sure? It's like something is bothering you," he asks worrying about me.
"I have a problem with Aana," I said while rubbing my hands on my face.
"What problem?" he asks.
"She is too jealous, she is always like this," I said to him.
"I find it normal, it will be difficult to her, that you are gonna have a baby with another woman," he said to me.
"She knows very well that but our situation is different, and there is no possibility to abandon her or fall in love with another woman," I said annoyed at him for taking her side.
"But this woman is the mother of your child," he argued.
"This is true but I can't fall in love with the woman I don't know, and that woman is a stranger for me even if she has something from me inside her," I said to him.
"She should have more trust in me, sometimes I wonder if we want the same thing," he said getting very irritated now.
"Are you sure you love her?" he asks me.
"What kind of question is this? of course I love her don't forget that she is my wife," I almost shouted at him.
"Do you only love her because she is your wife?" he asks.
"I don't get your point, Ethan," I said to him while looking at him puzzled. He was about to say something when my phone started to ring and I excused myself to pick it up while he, just nodded at him.
"Hello," I said on the phone.
"Hello Mr. Nara I am Doctor Mondale speaking, can you come to my hospital as soon as possible," a voice said in the phone.
"What's wrong? is baby okay?" I asked worriedly.
"I will tell you everything when you will be here," DR. Mondale said and hang up the call.
"Huh? What's wrong?" Ethan ask.
"I have to go, Ethan, I will talk with you later," I said to him while picking my car keys from the table and running out of my office.
I see Mia saying goodbye to me but I just ignored her. I sit in the back car and told him to drive to Dr. Mondale's hospital.I( call Aana and said her to met me at Dr. Mondale's hospital.
Now I am sitting in the hospital with Aana waiting for the doctor to come and say something.
"Everything is going to be okay," Aana tried to console me.
"I have a bad feeling about it, I want to know I can't wait anymore it's killing me," I said to her.
Suddenly the door opens and Dr. Mondale comes out of his office.
"Aana, Nate," Dr. Mondale said acknowledging us with nodding his head.
"Everything is alright with baby, right?" I ask with hope in my heart.
"The baby is fine," he said with a small smile.
"Than what is wrong, doctor?" I ask.
"I don't know how to start, I am, really sorry," the doctor said while looking down at the ground.
"What is it?" I ask now getting worried.
"Yesterday an accident happened in the lab, and," the doctor said and trail off.
"and what?" I ask getting curious but what he said next shocked me to the core.
"and everything in the lab gets burned into the ashes, and even the sample of you," the doctor said to me.
"That means," I said still in shock.
"That it was your last chance to have a child, and you can't do it from now on because everything is destroyed, I'm, really sorry," the doctor said to me leaving me speechless. I leave from there try to compose myself to stop myself from breaking down not before hearing the doctor talking with Aana.
"Go with him Aana, he needs you and sorry for this accident, an accident like this always happens in the lab," the doctor said to Aana.
"Nate wait," Aana said and run to catch up with me. But I don't stop and run towards my car and sit near my car with its support.
"I'm so sorry," Aana said sitting next to me while holding my hand.
"If anything happens to that child everything will be over," I said to her.
"Don't think like this, everything is going to be okay in the end," she said to me trying to console me.
"I wish if I can do something for you," she said while hugging my hand and an idea pops up in my mind.
"Do you wanted to do something for you?" I ask her.
"Ask me whatever you want," she said to me.
"Let's allow this woman to stay with us, we will take care of her baby so that everything will go well in the end," I requested her.
"What? another woman will stay with us? no way," she said while shaking her head,
"Until she gives birth after she gives birth she will leave us," I added to convince her to do it.
"We must be careful so that everything goes well with the baby," I said to her.
"No way I will ever allow it," she shouted at me.
"You don't care right?" I ask getting angry.
"Nate, that's not true," she said shocked with my words.
"The only thing you care is if you lose me but you don't care about my child," I said at the edge of shouting at her.
"You don't care about how I feel," I said standing up from the ground and taking a step away from her.
"Of course I care," she said taking a step closer to me.
"No, you don't, we both want different things we don't have the same dreams," I said while taking some step away from her.
"Nate," she said while taking a step closer to me.
"No, don't," I said stopping at her way to as she takes one step closer to me.
"But remember one thing Aana, if I lose a child one more time, then I want to spend my whole life alone, that means we will break up," I said while turning away from her.
"You can't be serious right," she asks.
"I am," I turn to look at her to show her how serious I am.
"So I was right the only thing you cared about to have a child," she shouted at me.
"You were wrong the only thing I wanted was to have a family with you," I said while moving my hands at my face stressed with all this drama of her.
"But if we can't do it then there is no more reason to stay with me, you deserved to be someone who can give you everything I can't, and I can't give you a family," I said turning away from her.
"But everything I want is you, Nate, a family is not important to me," she said almost at the edge of breaking down.
*So I was right about her she only cares about her and not about me,* I thought.
"But for me, it is, forgives me Aana, but we both want different things, even if I allow to stay with me, you will never be happy with me," I said to her.
"Because I can't stop the desire I can't have, forgive me Aana for wasting so much time with me, you will be happy with someone who will give everything, I will let you free if I lost the last chance of becoming a father," with that said I walk away from her and drive away to my office, my second home hoping that she understands and let that woman stay with us in want to spend her rest of the life with me.

"Good night Mr.nara," I said when I saw him running out of his office but he just ignored me and run away to the elevator.
*He ignored me* I thought shocked.
"Mia," Etan said startling me.
"Etan is something wrong with him?" I ask him, getting worried about my boss.
"He had a call and he left in hurry, I heard it's something about the baby," he explains.
"The baby? oh no, I hope everything is fine," I said getting worried about him remembering how happy he was when he knows that he is going to be a father.
"I hope it to, come on let's go it late already," he said and we get out of the office.
It's taken us 30 minutes to reach home. I bid him goodbye and enters my home.
"Welcome back young lady," my mom said while sitting on a dining table drinking coffee.
"Mom? you aren't asleep yet?" I ask taking my shoes out of my legs.
"I was waiting for you, do you know that you are late?" she asks.
"I was too busy with work today that I forgot to see what time it was," I said putting my shoes in a shoe rack.
"And what about the young man that walk you here? a new friend?" she asks raising her perfect eyebrow at me.
"Umm If you mean Ethan I already know him, " I said stretching my stiff body.
"He is Etan Dobriyal and he is working in this city now," I added and walk to the fridge to have some water and to find something to eat.
"I don't remember your old friend," she said with a frown.
"But I am happy that my daughter is dating someone who knows him well," my mother said smiling at me, making me chock on my water.
"dating? what are you talking about?" I ask while pouting at her.
"What do you say if your mother asks you to bring him here for lunch or dinner?" she asks with a smile ignoring my question.
"Meet him? are you crazy? I am not dating that idiot," I said in an angry voice.
"He is just a friend," I added while taking a sit on the dining table.
"And why not?" she asks.
"because I feel nothing for him," I said in a duh tone.
"Okay but you can bring him like a friend, I want to meet him," she said in a firm voice.
"If you are afraid that one day I am going to fall for him and he will leave me with a child, then you don't have to worry about it, what happens to you will never going to happen with me," I said to her in an assuring voice.
"And remember that I am 23, I am not a child and can take care of myself, and stop behaving like that whenever you saw me with my friends," I said in a firm voice.
"It's for your own good Mia, I am your mother so I want to protect you," she said in a stern voice.
"I can protect myself and forgive me but I am tired," I said standing up from my chair and cleaning my plate.
"This is not over young lady," she said when she saw me leaving but I just ignored her. How dare she thought like that about me.
I take my sleeping clothes out and walk to the washroom to get fresh and get into the cover. I tried to sleep but it didn't come to me.
"I hope my mother stop bugging me about it," I thought while turning and tossing in my bed.
"Nate, I hope he was okay, but why was I thinking and worried about him," I thought and then shake my head to get that thought out of my mind.
But his thoughts come back to me like a magnet attracting iron. No matter how many times I tried to remove him from my mind but it all goes in vail.
*Stop thinking like this about him, he is fucking married Mia,* I thought and started counting sheep to take my mind away from him and I can sleep peacefully.
(Nate P.O.V)
I was sitting in my office, working on my new tender when I heard someone knocking my door.
“Come in,” io said still looking at my laptop. I look up from my laptop to see Mia entering my office.
“Mia, why are you here? do you need anything?” I ask while looking at her.
“No everything is fine,” she said examining her fingers.
“Dose something else happens?” I ask getting worried.
“It’s about you,” she said shyly.
“About me?” I ask confused.
“Etan told me that something happened to you and you mentioned the baby,” she said looking at me.
*That idiot can’t keep his mouth shut even if his life depended on it, can he?* I ask myself.
“The baby is fine,” ‘and I hope it stays like that’ I thought.
“I am glad,” she said smiling at me making a smile come on my face. She was about to leave the office but I stop her in her way.
“Mia wait,” I said stopping her on her way.
“Yes, Mr. Nara?” she asks.
“Call me Nate please, and thank you for your concern,” I said smiling at her.
“No problem, I am glad that everything is okay,” she said while grinning at me from ear to ear.
“I know but thanks again,” I said with a smile.
“Never mind, but if you don’t mind can I know it’s a girl or boy,” she asks looking curious.
“It will be a boy of course,” I said smiling at her.
“Don’t tell me that you already know,” she said with a frown on her face.
“No, I just assume,” I said while screeching the back of the neck nervously.
“And what if it’s a girl?” she asks.
“Girl,?” I ask.
“Yes, girl baby girls are so cute,” she said dreamingly.
“Hmm, you are right but mine will be a son,” I said with a smirk.
